"For today's merchandisers of TOYS and HOBBIES"
For over 100 years, Playthings Magazine was the voice of the toy and game industry, containing field reports from industry
experts and retailers around the country every month. As such, these old issues are an incredible source of research into
the toy industry over the entire century during which households were able to purchase an increasingly impressive assortment
of toys for their kids. I will pull together as many issues as possible here for historical and reference purposes! The Strong Museum
in Rochester says they have a full run of this magazine, I hope one day they put it on line as well!
