Fallon - by Louis L'Amour
With Fallon, L'Amour again achieve more in the first 25 pages than many authors seem to accomplish
in half of a much longer novel. At only 150 pages, L'Amour tells an exciting and compelling tale,
complete with surprisingly sympathetic and well developed characters, the only flaw being that
it is over too soon. Hard to complain about such quality, however, and we all know that it should
be more highly valued than quantity. The saving grace is how very many more L'Amour books there
are to experience (100!) so that will keep us all busy for quite some time.
