Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future, by Ashlee Vance For anyone who has been paying some attention to news stories and interviews by Musk over the last several years,
this book is likely to re-tread a lot of that same ground. Still, it's well researched and reaches out to many
characters from the serial entrepreneur's past, in order to provide as well-rounded a picture as possible of
this enigmatic billionaire. I am in awe of the important role that Musk is filling in the advancement of society
currently, and think it is not an overstatement to credit him with pushing mankind to the next phase of our
overall development. I suspect history will prove that out, even if everyone currently is caught up with
bothering him about tweets to the SEC about Tesla press releases. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to care, and
neither will your grandchildren when they are setting up windfarms on Mars.
So year, regarding this book - it's a good time for anyone who wants to know more about what contributed to the
rise of Elon Musk, though of course many questions will remain unanswered, as it should be.
