Tron Legacy Trailer
I saw the new 3D Alice in Wonderland over the weekend - I can't stop thinking how amusing this whole 3D thing is, as if it's some groundbreaking new concept. Since Avatar did so well, we can all be nearly assured that just about every movie will be 3D for the next few years - prepare yourselves for Driving Miss Daisy 2011! AiW was pretty fun, and Depp was enjoyable as always, but what was particularly fantastic and unexpected was my first look at the Tron Legacy trailer which graced the start of the festivities. I was so impressed by the careful attention and, I like to think, loving detail that the people behind this sequel appear to be adding to the film. Just the shot of a dusty Flynn's, with all the arcade machines under plastic wrap, and all flickering back to life with the throw of the main breaker - such a beautiful scene. But don't take my word for it - the trailer is now available to see. I've not really been paying enough attention to all of the crazy viral marketing that has surrounded this movie for over 8 months, but here is an amazing writeup about a media event from July 2009, and the site flynnlives.com should catch us all up somewhat as well. Maybe it's time to dust off my games.... Posted by charlie on March 9th 2010, 08:06 AM Comments(2) Leave Comment Share |
