Bruce Campbell Q&A | |||||||||||||||||||||
The Bruce Campbell
effect at the convention was overwhelming, to say the least. It was the one clear indication that
this event, having reached it's tenth anniversary this time around, has hit a new level of size and attendance, and
will now either graduate to being an even more significant and 'important' event, or will collapse
under it's own weight. I figured that, while wanting to meet Campbell, it wasn't worth the many hours standing in line
around the outside of the hotel, in the rain and near freezing cold. So - we settled for seeing his Q&A panel, and it
was actually a fantastically good time!
We were graced with his biting wit, as they say, and he proved to be a funny and very quick dude in person. An unexpected treat was the 10-15 minute teaser real for his upcoming movie My Name is Bruce. This one is directly targeted at his many slavering fans, which we here at the Preserve must count ourselves among. It looks like a fun time, and everyone should try to catch it when it's released later this year. Sadly we had to stand quite far away, even having been in that same room during the previous Women of Horror panel, hoping we'd score a good seat. It was not to be, so the photos are pretty bad, but at least it's something! |
