Roddy Piper remains the absolute highlight of the convention for me. He was the nicest guy ever, and welcomed me to his booth
with open arms and a giant smile. He also seemed to get a kick out of the discussion I had with him about GI Joe, and enjoyed
seeing the comic I brought where a small picture of him appeared on the cover along with the rest of the Cobra forces! His
great quote was "So that's me? On the back? I gotta work my way around to the front cover!". Well Roddy, not that
we have a lot of pull with the Hasbro or Devil's Due folks yet, but we'll do what we can!
While posing for the picture, he quickly coached me "Hey bud, stand like this, stand like this with your fist out, yeah!"
and while I'm just not quite cool enough to pull it off, I still think it came out with a high degree of awesome!
