The Preserve is very proud to present coverage of the 2008 New York Comic Con!
Another trip to the Javits Center in New York finds another fantastic event with tremendous attendance. This
con, which is only three years old, is experiencing the sort of growth that only a crowded and affluent area
starved for a top-tier pop-culture event can provide. With a reported 40,000 attendees on the big day of
Saturday, the Comic Con of the East coast featured more celebrities from different areas of the entertainment
spectrum, more cool exclusives, and more product announcements and news that you can possibly imagine! While we
have found it quite impossible to capture everything that goes down at these events, at least it can be said that
the toy news and views to be had at a comic convention still are second fiddle to the books themselves. As such,
we stand a chance of bringing you the sort of full coverage of our favorite industry that you're looking for,
and in the galleries below we hope to have accomplished exactly that!
